Coach Renard in talent search

Zambia Head Coach Herve Renard and his technical staff have commenced
a nationwide assessment of hundreds of pre-selected players with a
view of identifying players for possible inclusion in the squads which
will compete in the 2013 Cosafa Senior Challenge and the Orange CHAN
Championship South Africa 2014.
The selection of players began several weeks ago in all 10 provinces
which have since been divided into 5 regions.
The national team technical staff will criss-cross the country and cover all 10
provinces by setting up base in pre-selected regional centres which
are Ndola for region one, Kabwe for region two, Lusaka for region
three, Livingstone for region four and Chipata for region five. 44
players will be assessed at each regional centre.
The first process of selection will take place in Ndola on 1st and 2nd
March at Mwanawasa Stadium commencing at 1000hrs.
The programme for when the exercise will be conducted in other regions
will be made available in due course.
The ten Provinces have been divided into regions as follows:
REGION ONE
Copperbelt, Luapula and North-Western Provinces (Regional Centre – Ndola)
REGION TWO
Central and Northern Provinces (Regional Centre - Kabwe)
REGION THREE
Lusaka and Western Provinces (Regional Centre - Lusaka)
REGION FOUR
Southern Province (Regional Centre - Livingstone)
REGION FIVE
Eastern and Muchinga Provinces (Regional Centre - Chipata)
