Mulenga linked to Norwich City

Zambia striker Jacob Mulenga is reportedly set to join English Premier League side Norwich City, according to supersport.com sources.

The 28-year-old, who recently admitted that his agents were in talks with a club in the English top-flight, is said to be in England undergoing medicals and was rumoured to be watching the league game between Norwich and visiting champions Manchester City from the stands. City won 4-3.

If the deal is made Mulenga will become the second Zambia international in England following fellow striker Emmanuel Mayuka's move to Southampton in the summer.

A third Zambia star defender Stophilla Sunzu could join the duo in the winter transfer window as he is rumoured to be close to a deal with Reading.

All three players have been listed in national coach Herve Renard's provisional squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. Norwich already have Cameroon defender Sebastian Bassong in their books.
