Three URA stars doubtful for return
URA coach Paul Nkata could miss the services of midfielder Oscar Agaba and defenders Derrick Walulya and Farouk Osama when the Ugandans entertain Cameroon’s Coton Sport in the return leg of the Caf Champions League on Saturday.
The trio, who all featured in the goalless draw in Cameroon close to two weeks ago, were listed as “unfit” on the club website.
Walulya and Agaba are suffering from malaria while Osama is nursing a bruise. Apart from these Nkata has a fit squad to choose from players capable of not only combating the Cameroonians attack, but to take the game to the visitors as well.
A goalless draw will see the tie decided on spot kicks while any scoring stalemate will see the Ugandan outfit out of the tournament. An outright win for either side will see them make the first round of the competition.
URA warmed up for the Saturday continental clash with a 3-2 win over a non-league side Azam FC to make the round of 32 in the Uganda Cup on Tuesday. Walulya, Agaba and Osama all missed the game.
