Uganda Cranes face Amavubi in friendly

The Uganda Cranes will take on Rwanda’s Amavubi Stars on February 6 in an international friendly in Kigali.

Fufa have already received a confirmation letter from Kigali regarding the said engagement. February 6th is an official Fifa date for international friendly matches.

The match is organized to give the head coach Bobby Williamson an opportunity to try out the current status of the available players ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers engagements due in March.

“Preparations are already underway to have the team start training over the weekend,” reads in part a communication from Fufa publicist Rogers Mulindwa.

Uganda were last in action last month when they beat Kenya 2-1 in the Cecafa final to win their 13th title.
