Police detain Masaka

Masaka could not get out of jail as they succumbed to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Police in the Bell Super League match played at Luzira on Saturday.

Ronald Magara struck the winner for the cops on seven minutes and the scoreline never changed thereafter.

Victory sees Police move up to fifth place in the standings with 10 points while defeat for Masaka relegates them to seventh on the same points.

Both Police and Masaka have won just three of their eight games, drawing four and losing one.
