Victors register second win

Victors moved from the relegation zone after winning only their second match in the 1-0 victory over Kira Young at Shimoni on Saturday.

Haruna Balli’s first half strike was enough as the Jinja-based outfit secured their second maximum points having labored in their opening four or so games.

Victors, who have now played eight games, move one up to eighth on seven points while Kira remain rooted at the basement of the Bell Super League table with just two points.

The visitors will have their defence to thank for holding out Kira attacks, Balli having scored so early on in the 17th minute.

In the other league game played at Luzira, Water and Entebbe Young played out a goalless draw.
