KCC hand Utoda 21st loss
KCC beat relegated Utoda 2-1 in the Bell Super League on Tuesday as the bottom side registered their record 21st loss of the season.
Caesar Sapeo and Joseph Ochaya goals in a space of two minutes broke down resilient Utoda, whose late consolation courtesy of an Omar Hitimana own goal could not inspire a comeback.
Ismail Kintu’s side remain on course to become the first team in recent memory not to win a game in a season, with only one match left.
KCC were also victims of Fire Masters’ expulsion from the league as the victory could only see them fall to seventh on 41 points. Utoda have six.
The Lugogo side went ahead in the 73rd minute through Sapeo before Ochaya doubled the advantage two minutes later.
With nine minutes to go, Utoda pressure forced Hitimana to turn it into his own net but KCC held on for all three points.
