Bidvest Stadium to host Wits, Chiefs tie



The Premier Soccer Leagues (PSL) on Wednesday announced venues and dates for the Telkom Knockout (TKO) last 16.

The TKO will kick off next week. The first match, to be played next week Friday , will see last year’s TKO finalists, Bidvest Wits at home to Kaizer Chiefs at the Bidvest Stadium. Kick-off is 8:15pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)

The following day, Free State Stars will play Golden Arrows at Goble Park, while in the Mother City, Ajax Cape Town will host SuperSport United at the striking Cape Town Stadium. Both matches kick off at 3pm.

On Saturday night, Maritzburg United will face Moroka Swallows at the Harry Gwala Stadium. Black Leopards will play against defending champions, Orlando Pirates at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kick-off for both fixtures is 8:15pm.

On Sunday, Platinum Stars will travel to Durban’s Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium to take on AmaZulu. At the same time, newly-promoted Chippa United will host Bloemfontein Celtic at the Philippi Stadium. Kick-off is at 3pm.

On Tuesday night, Mamelodi Sundowns will be at home against University of Pretoria at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. The match will start at 7:30pm.
