Poulsen ready for Morocco clash



Taifa Stars head coach Kim Poulsen believes his side can get another stunning result when they face Atlas Lions of Morocco in a 2014 World Cup qualifier at Grande Stade de Tanger in Marrakech on Saturday.

Poulsen's men recorded an emphatic 3-1 victory over Morocco in the first leg match played in Dar es salaam, courtesy of goals from TP Mazembe duos Mbwana Samatta and Thomas Ulimwengu, to keep their hopes of their dream qualification in World Cup in Brazil alive.

"One of our objectives in these matches is to win our home qualifiers game, which until now we've made it 100 percent. But to keep ourselves in a perfect position, we have to win this away game against Morocco," Poulsen said.

"We have come here with the aim of getting a good result, although we know it will be a difficult match," he added.

"In tough and big games like these - you need to play with maximum strength from the first minute to the last. The players are in condition, and ready to play the game, to get the best result."

Currently, Tanzania are second in Group C with six points, one below leaders Ivory Coast and four points above Morocco who are third.
