Samatta ready for Cameroon game
Tanzania and TP Mazembe striker Mbwana Samatta is looking forward to the friendly match against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon which will be staged this Wednesday at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Samatta who was the top scorer in the DR Congo Premier League with 23 goals believes that his side will give out their best to come out with good results against Cameroon.
"Cameroon is one of the best teams in Africa, this will be a good challenge for us and Tanzania football at large, playing against at team of such ranks," Samatta told supersport.com.
"We have had good training sessions, and everyone is excited towards this match. Everyone in the team is committed and ready for the game,” he added.
“As a striker always our goal is to score and help the team, in every possible way. I look forward to give huge contribution in the game.”
“We have huge respect for Cameroon as well as their players. We will take this game as a test towards our tough upcoming games. We will make sure we compete well so as to get more confidence for our 2014 World Cup Qualifiers games," he insisted.
Tanzania will player against Morocco in their next World Cup Qualifiers match later in March.
