Kiiza saves Yanga blushes



Tanzanian giants Yanga SC were held to a 1-1 draw with Mtibwa Sugar at National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, as their lead on top of the Vodacom Premier League was reduced to three points.

Shaaban Kisiga opened the scoring for Mtibwa in the 44th minute, to get a 1-0 lead over Yanga at half time.

Yanga's equalizer came in the 86th minute through second half substitute Hamis Kiiza who had come on for Burundi international striker Didier Kavumbagu.

With this result, Yanga stay on top with 33 points while Azam come closer with 30 in second place.
