Tusker thrash Simba

Kenyan champions Tusker thrashed Tanzanian side Simba 3-0 in a friendly match played at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Striker Jesse Were netted twice in the 37th and 44th minutes to give Tusker a 2-0 lead over Simba at halftime.

The brewers managed to maintain the momentum in the second half, as they scored their final and third goal of the game in the 54th minute thanks to Frederick Onyango's strike.

It was Tusker’s second successive victories over Tanzanian giants, following their 1-0 Boxing Day victory over Yanga.
