Shock defeats for Simba and Azam



Tanzania Vodacom Premier League saw shocking results on Saturday as the first round came to an end.

At the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Toto Africans recorded a 1-0 vicory over Holders Simba SC.

Mussa Said scored a goal in the 73rd minute connecting a well taken cross by Mohamed Jingo, to regsiter a historic victory over the Msimbazi boys.

Simba have now suffered two consecutive defeats following their 3-0 defeat by Mtibwa Sugar last week.

Elsewhere, newly promoted Mgambo JKT grabbed a 2-1 victory over League contenders Azam.

Azam have suffered two defeats in three games since the return of Englishman Stewart Hall.
