Yanga sack Saintfiet

Tanzanian giants Yanga on Friday afternoon sacked their Belgian coach Tom Sainfiet .

Supersport.com has authoritatively learnt that new chairman Manji fired Saintfiet who led Yanga to the Cecafa club championship two months ago infront of the fans and other technical bench members.

Saintfiet said he has been shocked by the action but knew from the first day that the chairman did not like him at all.

"I can confirm I was fired yesterday infront of all my players as the chairman shouted to me I was no longer needed."

"I saw this coming since even when I arrived the chairman refused to greet me as I knew he had his own preferred coach."

"This has nothing to do with performance since from the sixteen matches I have been at the helm I have won 13 lost two and drew one," Saintfiet told supersport.com.
