Vita Club take third place

Vita Club of DR Congo produced a strong performance to upset APR of Rwanda 2-1 in the third and fourth play-off match of this year’s Cecafa Kagame Cup played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Magola Mapunda broke the deadlock with a fine long range shot that beat keeper Jean Claude Ndoli in APR's goal in the 18th minute.
Vita Club continued to pile pressure but the strikers efforts were thwarted by keeper Ndoli.
In the second half APR mounted a fight back but were hit on the counter attack after Ebunga Simbi sublime pass was tapped in by Mutombo Kazadi for Vita's second goal in the 70th minute.
With the game going in favour of Vita Jean Mugiraneza pulled a goal back for APR deflecting a shot by Romaric to beat Vita's keeper from close range.
The win ensured Vita club claimed $10000 in cash for their efforts.
