Tanzania out to sting The Scorpions

Kim Poulsen's Taifa Stars host the Scorpions of Gambia in their second 2014 World Cup qualifier in Dar es Salaam on Sunday.

It will be the third game for Poulsen in his role and he is still looking for his first victory.

Stars will miss their vice-captain Aggrey Maurice, after the player received a red card in the game against Ivory Coast in Abidjan with Erasto Nyoni getting the nod, to fill the gap.

“I saw Nyoni for some few minutes against Ivory Coast and he played well with discipline. He is an experienced player who knows how to stop an enemy,” Poulsen said.

Masoud 'Chollo' Nassoro will also not feature due to knee injury but the coach will welcome Haruna Moshi, Thomas Ulimwengu and Nurdin Bakari who missed out against Ivory Coast due to injuries.

Luciano Mancini’s Scorpions are coming from a 1-1 draw against Morocco with his team confident of making an impression at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
