Keshi masterminded this victory-Oboabona

Nigeria Centre-back, Godfrey Oboabona gave credit to Nigeria's calm and comfortable victory over tournament favourites Ivory Coast to coach Stephen Keshi.

The Sunshine Stars of Akure defender told supersport.com that “when you have a coach like the Big Boss who gives us confidence on and off the pitch you are always going on to the pitch prepared to give your all".

In an earlier chat with suprsport.com after the last group game against Ethiopia, Oboabona had said he was ready to take on the Ivorians and how he managed to keep the famed Ivorian frontline at bay.

Oboabona attributes it to "communication. We kept on talking to each other during the game, we were focused, we had been given a match plan by the technical crew and we knew we had to communicate to carry it through".

Most of all, it was also by the Grace of God that we were able to get this victory".
