Camp Faro swells

Holland-based defender, Kenneth Omeruo has joined the rest of the Nigeria squad at their training camp in Portugal as the team intensiies preparations for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
The ADO Den Haag players was the first over-seas player to join the squad save for Valeranga midfielder, Fegor Ogude who came flew in with the players plying their trade in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) on Friday.
Omeruo was also joined in the training camp by Dynamo Kiev striker, Brown Ideye who trained with the rest of the squad on Saturday.
Ideye is the top scoring Nigeria in Europe this season with 13 goals for Dynamo Kiev in the Ukrainian top flight.
Bright Dike and Uche Kalu are expected to further swell the number in camp on Saturday.
The players will be put through their paces by head coach of the Nigeria national team ahead of the January 2 exhibition game against Catalonia at the Cornella-El Pratt.
