Bassey Ezekiel has been handed a recall by Nigeria manager, Stephen Keshi to join the team's pre-Afcon camp in Abuja, supersport.com can report.
The Lobi Stars' left-back was excluded from the initial 24-man provisional list announced by Keshi last week.
But Ezekiel will now team up with the Super Eagles in Abuja for the opening phase of their camping ahead of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations after Heartland's Kalu Orji was declared unavailable.
"Kalu Orji is not available so we have opted to call another player from our large pool of players at our disposal. So we have called Bassey Ezekiel of Lobi Stars to take his place," said Keshi to supersport.com.
As at Monday afternoon, Ezekiel was still being expected to join the team's camp.
