Uche is a Super Eagle on fire

Nigerian midfielder, Kalu Uche needs just one more goal to get up to double figures in the 2012/13 Super Lig season.

The 30-year-old netted his ninth goal of the season for Kasimpasa on Saturday in their 2-2 draw against Gençlerbirligi at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadi.

The former Almeria man netted a fantastic goal in the 56th minute with a diving header off a brilliant cross from Angolan midfielder, Djalma.

Uche is now the second top scorer in the league as only Galatasaray’s Umut Bulu, with 11 goals, have scored more this season.

Uche, who has scored five goals in 35 appearances for the Nigerian national team, has been by overlooked head coach, Stephen Keshi.
