Two Super Eagles lead charge for clubs

The Nigerian duo of Ahmed Musa and Kalu Uche scored vital goals to help their clubs to earn points on Saturday.

In Russia, Musa fired a goal in each half to ensure that CSKA Moscow won 3-1 at Kuban Krasnodar.

The former Kano Pillars' attacking winger scored his first goal with ten minutes to the break before Turkish-born Armenian, Aras Ozbiliz, scored for the hosts to tie into half time.

The Nigerian international netted his brace on 51 minutes while his teammate, Rasmus Cristoffer Elm put the game beyond Kuban five minutes later.

Musa's double strike have catapulted the Army club to the top of the Russian Premier League.

This season, Musa has scored seven goals for CSKA Moscow.

In the Turkish Super Lig, Uche scored a late goal from the spot to help ten-man Kasimpasa SK earn one point at home to Antalyaspor.

Uche's goal cancelled Ismail Aissaiti's 77th minute goal for Antalyaspor.

It was the 29-year-old's sixth goal of the season since moving to Turkey in the summer.
