Casillas to marry girlfriend in July
Spain keeper Iker Casillas and reporter Sara Carbonero plan to get married in July, after the Euro, the Spanish magazine Lecturas reported on Wednesday.
Carbonero, 28, and Casillas, 30, have been dating for three years and the Real Madrid captain had already proposed several times, the report said.
She finally accepted, Lecturas reported, citing sources close to the couple. There has been no official confirmation yet.
Both are expected to be in Poland and Ukraine from June 8 to July 1 for the Euro. Casillas will be defending his 2008 title with Spain, while Carbonero will be covering the event for the private Spanish television channel Telecinco.
The wedding will reportedly take place once they return to Spain. Casillas and Carbonero recently bought a house in Pozuelo, a suburb of Madrid.
The couple met during the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa. A year later, right after Spain won the World Cup Casillas kissed Carbonero on a live broadcast, the video of which went viral.
