Juju wants nothing but Chiefs scalp

There are many other pre-season matches taking place this weekend but the one that will be the centre of attraction is the Carling Black Label Cup between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs. It is no wonder that Bucs striker Thulasizwe 'Juju' Mbuyane is itching to get the ball rolling.

The match takes place at Soccer City with a 7:30pm kick-off, live on SS Blitz, and Mbuyane is guaranteed a starting berth following a public voting process by the fans of both clubs. He said earlier this week that that "winning against Kaizer Chiefs is an experience that all Bucs players want to live".

He also said that while the clash was not a league match, he would still be determined to score and help his team defend the Carling Cup, which the club won last year.

"This is a game in which you want to play your best football regardless of what competition it is," said Mbuyane in an interview with the club's official website.

"You are only as good as your last game and although we have won almost everything in the past two seasons, we have to continue being relevant.

"Winning against Kaizer Chiefs is a motivation not only for us as players but also to our supporters who have increased in numbers in the past two years.

"It will be hard for us, but I think we have some of the best strikers in the country at the moment and we will do everything to try getting a good result on Saturday," Mbuyane said.

Starting line-ups:

Kaizer Chiefs: Itumeleng Khune, Jimmy Jambo, Siboniso Gaxa, Tefu Mashamaite, Morgan Gould, Josta Dladla, George Lebese, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Abia Nale, Bernard Parker, Lehlohonolo Majoro.

Orlando Pirates: Moeneeb Josephs, Siyabonga Sangweni, Lucky Lekgwathi, Rooi Mahamutsa, Thabo Matlaba, Andile Jali, Oupa Manyisa, Sifiso Myeni, Mark Mayambela, Benni Mccarthy, Thulasizwe Mbuyane.
