Future stars to shine on SS



Bafana Bafana captain and Everton midfielder, Steven Pienaar traces his football roots back to the School of Excellence which shaped his career into being one of the best creative midfielders in the continent.

Future Steven Pienaar’s from schools across the country will get to showcase their skills to potential future employers in the 2012 SA Schools Shootout Challenge which is being broadcast live on SuperSport.

Schools participating in the tournament come from all nine provinces and include Phagameng High School – Limpopo; Leruntse Lesedi Secondary School – North West; Shayamoya Area Secondary School – KwaZulu-Natal; Kagisho Comprehensive Secondary School – Free State; Western Cape Sports School– Western Cape; Kuyasa Senior Secondary School – Eastern Cape; Mohloli Secondary School – Gauteng; Benny’s Sports Development and Academy – Limpopo; Mahlatsi High School – Mpumalanga; Groutville High School – KwaZulu Natal; Paballelo High School – Northern Cape; Rietvale High School – Northern Cape; Sacred Heart College; Benoni High School; CBC Mount Edmund; School of Excellence; Jet Nteo Secondary School; Meadowlands High School; Voortrekkerhoogte High School; Orlando High School; Alexandra High School;The Glen High School and Rosina Sedibane School.
