Rui Patricio extends Sporting deal
Portuguese international goalkeeper Rui Patricio has signed a five-year contract extension with Sporting Lisbon, tying him to the club until June 2018, it was announced on Sunday.
Sporting revealed the news, adding that the 24-year-old, who was Portugal's first-choice goalkeeper during their run to the semifinals of Euro 2012, now has a release clause to the value of €40 million.
