3SC target points in Aba

3SC head coach, Akeem Busari, has challenged his side to play with more confidence and freedom against former African champions, Enyimba, when they meet on Sunday in an NPFL Week 14 tie in Aba.

All eyes will be on the Ibadan club, who celebrated the appointment of Busari as the head coach of the side with a morale-boosting 2-0 defeat of Nasarawa United, as they seek to improve on their poor away record.

Busari told supersport.com that they would do their best to emerge from the encounter with The Peoples Elephant with a positive result.

"Enyimba is a big side with a proud history, just like us, so it is going to be a tough game," Busari said.

"I know Aba is a difficult venue to visit, but we have prepared well and the boys are determined to turn a new leaf.

"I have told them to believe in themselves and remain disciplined, that it is the same thing whether at home or away.

"They must intensify their efforts if we are to be serious contenders in the league.

"We have seen our deficiencies and we're working on them."

3SC are 11th on the NPFL log, one place below Enyimba on goal difference. Both sides are on 19 points.
