Edem proud of 3SC debut

Former First Bank captain, Francis Edem, is confident of making progress at the famous 3SC after his debut at Sharks.

Edem, one of the players who joined the Ibadan side during the recent transfer window was an unused substitute against Sunshine Stars on Matchday 10, but got his chance to begin top flight football on Matchday 11 of the NPFL.

Interestingly, it was the first time 3SC would pick a point on the road this term.

“I’m learning fast as top flight football is not easy. I made some mistakes, but gradually adapted to the situation when we played Sharks. It’s interesting and I have to work harder to play regularly,” the former First Bank defender said to supersport.com.

Edem made his name at First Bank where he also captained the team.

However, he will have to contend with the experienced David Amanyi, who is injured.
