Ahmed Musa nets hat-trick

Nigeria winger, Ahmed Musa scored a hat-trick for his Russian club, CSKA Moscow in the 3-0 win against Belarussian club, Bate Borisov in a friendly match on Friday.

The 20–year-old opened the scoring on the stroke of half time and completed his brace 12 minutes after the break.

Two minutes later, he completed his hat-trick to underline his status as one of the cornerstones of CSKA Moscow’s trainer, Leonid Slutsky’s personnel.

The Russian league is currently on hiatus but Slutsky will be looking for a repeat performance from Musa on a consistent basis when the season commences later this month.

Musa has scored nine goals in 29 appearances for CSKA since completing a €10 million move from the Dutch club, VVV-Venlo in September 2012.

The former Kano Pillars' attacker is an established Nigerian international. He has scored four goals for the Super Eagles in 24 appearances since making his debut in 2010.
