Uche is top dog in Turkey



Nigerian midfielder, Kalu Uche is now the top goal scorer in Turkey’s Super Lig after he netted for Kasimpasa in the club’s 1-3 loss to Fenerbahce on Sunday.

Uche’s goal in the 2nd minute was scored from the penalty spot.

The forward now has 13 goals to his name this season, more than any other player in the league.< /p>

Fenerbahce’s Camerian striker, Pierre Webo is second on the goal scorer’s charts with 12 goals. Umut Bulu and Burak Yilmaz, Galatasaray’s top marksmen have also notched up 12 goals this season.

The 30-year-old has made 30 appearances for Nigeria since making his debut in 2003 against Angola in Benin City. He has scored five times for the Super Eagles.
