Chuka scores in Lueven’s win

Nigerian striker, Derrick ‘Chuka’ Ogbu continued to underline his importance to Belgian top flight club, Oud-Heverlee Leuven as he scored the winner in the side’s Jupiler League game against KV Mechelen on Saturday.

The attacker netted after 77 minutes to give Leuven a 2-1 win over Mechelen at a packed Achter de Kazerne.

The win takes Leuven up to 10th on the standings with 35 points from 28 matches.

Ogbu has now scored seven goals this season and is his club’s second top scorer behind Ibou who has netted 17 goals this term.

The 22-year-old Ogbu is yet to be capped by Nigeria at any level.
