LSFA brings bite to 'SMW Football Night'

The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) in conjunction with the organisers of the Social Media Week 2013 edition, has announced that it is elated to present the much anticipated ‘SMW Football Day’ – featuring three panels, one venue, one day, and one grand party!

The event which is intended to be as informative as it will be entertaining, will kick-off with three panels followed by a red carpet coming out and grand party at the SS lounge in Victoria Island on Thursday the 21st . The panels will be discussing the latest trends in social media in relation to football.

Expected to attend in addition to the who is who in Sports Media, are The Sharp Band, Peter Rufai, Kanu Nwankwo, Mutiu Adepoju, J.J Okocha and members of the current African Champions, the Super Eagles.

Again, just as they did when helping establish the now hugely successful Copa Lagos I and II, as well as the spectacular FA cup final, Soccerex and the recently concluded NSF Eko 2012, the Association under the sound guidance of Chairman Seyi Akinwunmi is aggressively continuing its rebranding effort aimed at putting Lagos on the list of football’s favourite host cities.

Telling supersport.com that: “The essence of the SMW is to spread knowledge - plain and simple” Mr. Akinwunmi was quite confident of the events success and will continue to push the envelope. The event starts at 10.am, and is free to the general public. It is slated to run all day ending with the Football party which starts at 9.pm.
