3SC nip ABS

3SC on Tuesday recorded a 1-0 victory over hosts, ABS in the first leg of their two-legged friendly duel between the two premier League campaigners.

The Ibadan-based club were the better side throughout the encounter and were deserved winners in the end.

Gbolahan Salami netted the lone goal for 3SC in the 42nd minute as a long effort from goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye found the petite striker at the right corner and he wasted no time beating ABS' goalie, Wasiu Ibrahim.

As for ABS, they did not create much chances at goal and it would now be a major concern to head coach, Kabir Dogo.

The return leg is scheduled to hold on Thursday at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
