Osas bullish ahead of Super Four

Heartland forward, Jolly Osas has said his side will repeat the Charity Cup feat at the Super Four pre-season tournament.

The Super Four competition slated for January in Kano is meant for the country's continental campaigners.

Premier League champions, Kano Pillars and Enugu Rangers as well as 2013 Confederation Cup representatives, Heartland and Lobi Stars.

Osas said his side will not only emerge winners of the Super Four competition but cart away all the laurels in the land.

"Many people never gave us any chance against Kano Pillars in the Charity Cup tie in Port Harcourt but we surged forward to record a convincing win.

"We'll repeat the performance at the Super Four tournament.

"The four teams are champions and unarguably best in the land but we've a season's target to win every laurel available.

"Winning the Super Four title will send the right signal that Heartland want to make a bold statement this season.

"We have quality players and the right environment to deliver the goods at the appointed time," he said to supersport.com.

The petite goal poacher is equally excited at the February 16 kickoff date for the new league season as announced by the NPL League Management Board on Thursday.

"We're ready for the season any day, any time. We're waiting for February 16 to come so as to show our stuff.

"I'm happy that league action will eventually start, I only pray there won't be any further alteration to the date. We're already behind schedule compared with leagues in other lands," he said.
