Ezekiel Imoh continues to lead by example as one of Nigeria’s finest ambassadors in Europe this season.

The 19-year-old is his club’s top scorer this season with 10 goals following his brilliant strike against KV Mechelen on Saturday.

In a weekend where Imoh emerged as the only Nigerian goal scorer for a club in a top European league, supersport now rounds up the best of the action involving Nigerians abroad.

Austria (Tipp-3 Bundesliga)

Bright Edomwonyi has hardly played for Red Bull Salzburg this season.

He was not listed as his side trounced Sv Mattersburg 7-0 on Saturday at the Red Bull Arena.

< b> Belgium (Pro League)

Ezekiel Imoh was a goal scoring hero for Standard Liege yet again as he notched up his 10th goal of the season in his club’s 2-0 win at KV Mechelen.

‘Chuka’ Derrick Ogbu came on after 77 minutes for OH Leuven as his side went down 1-2 at Anderlecht.

Michael Uchebo played all 90 minutes for Cercle Brugge in the 1-1 draw at Lierse SK.

< b> England (Premier League)

Shola Ameobi came on as a second half substitute for Newcastle United in the 1-3 defeat against champions, Manchester City.

Ameobi came close to scoring moments earlier but was thwarted by the City goalkeeper, Joe Hart who produced a stunning save from point blank range.

Peter Odemwingie failed to score for West Bromwich Albion in their 0-0 sraw against West Ham United at the Hawthorns.

Victor Anichebe was not listed for Everton in the 1-1 draw at Stoke.

France (Ligue 1)

Onyekachi Apam played all 90 minutes for Rennes in the 2-0 win against Valenciennes.

John Utaka picked up a yellow card and was substituted after 65 minutes for Montpellier HSC as Bastia received a 4-0 hiding at the Stad La Mosson.

Former junior international, Simon Zenke has had a yoyo season with AS Nancy an was not listed by Manager, Jean Fernandez in the club’s 1-1 draw at home to Bordeaux.

< b> Germany (Bundesliga)

Joseph Akpala came on for Werder Bremen with 7 minutes remaining in the club’s 1-1 draw at home to FC Nürnberg.

Chinedu Obasi was an unused substitute for Schalke 04 as the side crashed at home, 1-3 to SC Freiburg.

Obasi has endured a torrid season under Manager, Huub Stevens who was sacked moments after the loss to Freiburg at the Veltins Arena.

< b> Italy (Serie A)

The Inter trainer, Andrea Stramaccioni continues to overlook Joel Obi who is enduring his unhappiest season as a Nerazzuri player this term.

The 21-year-old was not even among the 12 substitutes as Inter lost 0-1 to AS Roma at the Satdio Olympico.

Ogenyi Onazi was an unused substitute for Lazio.

The Netherlands (Eredivisie)

Olufemi Ajilore has been enjoying a good run in the Groningen team in recent days and played all 90 minutes as the side drew 0-0 against VVV Venlo at the Euroborg.

Uche Nwofor was drafted in as a 76th minute substitute for Venlo.

Kenneth Omeruo and his ADO Den Haag teammates faced some stern examination at the De Kuip Stadium against Feyenoord but came unstuck, losing in the odd goal in five against the Rotterdam giants.

< b> Portugal (SuperLiga)

Elderson Echiejile has lost his place in the Sporting Braga team and was dropped to the bench for the second game running as GD Estoril Praia fell 3-0 at the Estádio Municipal de Braga.

John Ogu

John Ogu was an unused substitute for Academica Coimbra as the club drew 2-2 with Moreirense at the Estádio Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas.

< b> Scotland (SPL)

Efe Ambrose was part of the Celtic team that defeated St Mirren 2-0 at Celtic Park in Glasgow.

The defender played for 71 minutes in the game.

< b> Spain (La Liga)

Obafemi Martins has been riding the crest of a wave with his La Liga club, UD Levante this season. Levante are up to 5th place on the log after a remarkable victory over Real Zaragoza at La Romareda.

‘Obagol’ played all 90 minutes and picked up a yellow card in the keenly-contested game.

Odion Ighalo led the lie fr Granada in the 0-0 draw against Real Soceidad at the Nuevo Los Cármenes.

Ighalo was on for all 90 minutes.

Turkey (Super Lig)

Nduka Ozokwor was not listed for Mersin Idmanyurdu in the 2-1 win at home to Akhisar Belediyespor.

Ekigho Ehiosun continues to ponder life on the sidelines at Gençlerbirligi.

The former Sivasspor attacker was drafted in as an 86th minute substitute by the Gençlerbirligi trainer, Fuat Çapa in the 1-1 draw against Besiktas at 19 Mayis on Saturday.

After surprisingly missing out of action last week, striker Michael Eneramo was restored to the starting line of Sivasspor.

The powerfully-built forward failed to score as his side lost 0-1 to Karabukspor at Yenisehir Stadi.

Former junior international, Promise Isaac was on for all 90 minutes for Antalyaspor in the 1-1 draw against Orduspor at 19 Eylül Stadi.

Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo played all 90 minutes for Fenerbahce in the big game against Galatasaray at the Türk Telekom Arena.

Fener lost 2-1.
