Wikki to bolster goalkeeping ranks
Nigeria Premier League (NPL) club, Wikki Tourists have confirmed to supersport.com their readiness to sign former ABS' goalkeeper, Aiyeyemi James.
James, 22, was left out of Kabiru Dogo's team that will campaign for the Saraki Boys next season in the apex league in Nigeria.
Wikki Tourists' chairman, Alhaji Sule Chindo told supersport.com in Abuja that the agile goalkeeper will put pen to paper in a couple of days.
“James is a good goalkeeper and by God's grace, we would sign him when I get back to Bauchi. We want committed players for the coming season as we are planning to get a continental ticket for Bauchi fans,” Chindo said to supersport.com in Abuja.
Wikki Tourists finished the outgone season in 10th spot on 51 points from 36 games.
