Affection keeps Ezuruike at Dolphins

Dolphins' centre-back, Victor Ezuruike has agreed to play for manager, Stanley Eguma in the 2012/2013 NPL season.

Initially, the former Heartland strongman toyed with the idea of a possible return to the Naze Millionaires camp but shelved the plan after it was confirmed the former Olympic team manager is staying at the Garden City side.

"I'm staying back at Dolphins because of the coach whom I've a struck good working relationship all this while. I want to work with Eguma for the coming season. We've been in good terms.

"I don't want bad blood with the team or manager which would be the case if I decided to go elsewhere. I love Dolphins and I want to give them my best this term.

"We'll work hard to return Dolphins to its hitherto status as champions and head back to the continent.

"With the quality of old players retained and the new ones surely we'll move mountains in the coming season," he said to supersport.com.

Ezuruike fought hard in Dolphins' narrow escape from relegation in the out gone 2011/2012 league season.
