Super Eagles' left back, Benjamin Francis said he will give his best against Venezuela in Thursday's international friendly in Miami, Florida, United States of America.
Francis is among the nine domestic Eagles listed for the friendly tie against the Venezuelans on Saturday by assistant coach, Dan Amokachi after the side 3-1 win against an amateur side, Water FC of Abuja.
The Heartland strongman said though he is excited with making the cut what is important is Eagles' victory in November 15 encounter.
"Everybody gave his best in camp to be in the squad to face Venezuela and we know not all of us will make the list given the pegged number by the coaches.
"So for those who made the list and those who didn't we're united on Eagles' victory. That's the atmosphere when the list was read out.
"I'm just lucky to be listed, I'll do my best to earn a final shirt and ensure we have a good game against Venezuela. So we're looking forward to picking a resounding victory on Thursday," he said.
The encounter is a build-up game for Eagles' 2013 Afcon campaign in South Africa.
Other domestic Eagles who made the list include Chigozie Agbim, Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Solomon Kwambe, Umar Zango, Henry Uche, Sunday Mba and Ejike Uzoenyi. They will be joined by 11 foreign-based players earlier announced.
