Rising Stars desert Erelesusi

NPL demoted side, Rising Stars' coach, Sunday Erelesusi said he is in the dark over his side's campaign in the National League next season.
Rising Stars just spent a season in the elite league finishing a dismal 19th position on 39 points from 36 matches.
Already relegated before the last day game defeat at the dethroned champions, Dolphins on September 7 in Port Harcourt, the Stars dropped to the lower league alongside Niger Tornadoes, Jigawa Golden Stars and expelled side, Ocean Boys.
Erelesusi said he has been shunned like a plague by the management upon returning from the failed Garden City battle.
"Nobody from the management has spoken to me since we returned from Port Harcourt after the last day defeat at Dolphins.
"No word has come to the players, too, everybody has kept to himself hoping that somebody will break the silence and define the way forward for the team.
"At the moment we're in total darkness as it concerns the future of the team.
"We never expected a red carpet reception that would be strange for a team that went on relegation but at least somebody should talk to us.
"Agreed our best was not good enough that's not the end of the world.
"At least, three other teams were relegated. Rising Stars won't be an exception and could be on it's quick way back to the elite league.
"It takes the parties to sit down, review the past, see where mistakes were made and take corrections," he told supersport.com.
The Akure-based side will campaign in the National League in the coming season.
