Enyeama declared up to speed

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama was the last player in at the team’s camp ahead of the 2013 Africa Nation’s Cup qualifier against Liberia.
The Maccabi Tel Aviv shot-stopper was given special dispensation by head coach, Stephen Keshi to attend to ‘pressing personal issues.’
Enyeama eventually stormed the camp on Wednesday and was put through special training sessions under the guidance of goalkeeping trainer and former international, Ike Shorunmu.
The Super Eagles' deputy skipper appeared to be in fine fettle as exemplified by his showings in the sessions with Shorunmu offering high praise for his ward.
“It’s just routine and we know his form and we are sure he will be ready for the game against Liberia if needed,” Shorunmu said.
Enyeama was on duty for Maccabi at the weekend and assured after the session which lasted over two hours at the Abuja National Stadium, that he was happy for the special dispensation granted him by Keshi promising to reward him with an excellent performance if fielded on Saturday.
Enyeama has been capped 65 times by Nigeria and has scored one goal for the Super Eagles.
