Lobi's dream to end in Calabar

p>Kano Pillars coach, Baba Ganaru is confident his side would overcome Lobi Stars in Wednesday's Federation Cup semifinal to be played in Calabar.
Ganaru acknowledged Lobi Stars recent good run of results have brought them to the fore, but insists they are not special.
"Lobi have been doing very well, but I do not see anything extraordinary in what they have achieved so far that should intimidate us," he told SuperSport.com.
"I have always said that any team that reached the quarterfinals must have been good, and had a bright chance of going all the way, so like the other team that progressed from the group stage Lobi have done well.
"We have also been on top of our game and go into this tie as slight favourites; my players are in good shape and I'm confident they would get the job done."
Ganaru revealed that apart from Gambo Mohammed who has departed to Turkey, he has the full compliment of his players available for the big match.
"Our players in the Super Eagles camp are back with us, so we have no excuse not to deliver," he reasoned.
"Gambo has travelled to Turkey, but I still consider our team to be at full strength and this is what I've always wanted.
He added:"I expect a very good game of football from both sides, but we have the edge and should win."
Both Pillars and Lobi Stars are on course for a domestic league and Cup double.
Besides the Federation Cup semifinal clash, Pillars lead the Makurdi side by a point on top of the premier league with just one match left.
