SuperSport.com named best

SuperSport.com has been named the Best Sports Website by the Sports Brands Nigeria Awards.
The SBNA, which took place on Sunday at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers, saw SuperSport.com edging four other contending website to win the award in the first edition of the awards ceremony.
SuperSport.com's West African Football Manager, Iwedi Ojinmah, was delighted and assured that the website will continue to give better reportage of Nigerian sports in the coming days.
"This is good for us. We are happy to win this but we will continue to give better coverage of games and sports event in the country like we have done in the past years and we will be back here next year for the Sports Brands Nigeria Award," Ojinmah said after receiving the award for the website.
On the same night, SuperSport.com's parent body, DStv got the award for Best Sponsorship of National League for Men.
DStv is the official title partner of the Nigeria Premier Basketball League. The company has been the main partner of the Nigeria Basketball Federation since 2009 after signing an agreement for a period of four years.
Other top companies rewarded at the SBNA include Neuros Pharceuticals, Lagos, Nestle Milo, Coca-Cola, Zenith Bank Nigeria Plc, Hot Sports Network Limited and two-time African champions, Enyimba.
Founder and publisher of Complete Sports, Dr Sunny Obazu-Ojeagbase was inducted into the Hall of Fame as he received the Lifetime Achievement award.
