ABS gaffer, Kabir Sulaimon Dogo, has applauded Kwara Football
Academy youngster, Jonah Usman, for his bravery in goal.
The youngster is one of the KFA players on loan at ABS.
Usman was in goal for the first time in a home match as ABS
outplayed six-time Nigerian champions, Enyimba, 3-1, on matchday in the Nigeria Premier League.
It was the fourth start for the youngster after road trips at Sharks, Dolphins and Enugu Rangers respectively.
Usman was in top form at Rangers and the Enugu side laboured for over 90 minutes before Haliru Umar eventually put the ball behind him.
“He was brilliant at Rangers and I believe he will get better. Since the first choice wasn’t available, we decided to give him a chance and he has done well,” Dogo said to SuperSport.com.
Other KFA players who have done well at ABS this term include
Ichull Lordson and former Nigerian schoolboy international, Stone
Evbuomwan.
