Warriors give Falcons 'thumbs up'

Zimbabwe's Mighty Warriors' midfielder, Ruvimbo Mutyavaviri has singled out Super Falcons' defensive midfielder, Onyinyechi Ohadugha for her outstanding performance.
Ohadugha played 90 minutes in the 4-0 defeat of the Southern Africans in the final fixture of the 2012 AWC decided at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Mutyavaviri was pulled out in the second term of the encounter for Sheila Makoto and she did not hesitate to point out to SuperSport.com that Ohadugha stole her heart with her unique style of play.
"Yes, the No 8 shirt (Onyinyechi Ohadugha), she really played good game. She impressed me," she said
The Zimbabwean player admitted to the superiority of the reigning African champions.
"Yes, they outclassed us, they played better than us. We're proud to lose to the African champions.
"First half we tried to play them but we were scared and in the second half it was too late to come back into the game.
"It's unfortunate we lost massively, we intended to play according to the coach instruction but luck left us," she said.
On her message to their conquerors, Mutyavaviri says best of luck at AWC in Equatorial Guinea.
"Best wishes for Falcons at 2012 AWC," she said.
