The matchday seven involving hosts Lobi Stars and Heartland at the Old Parade Ground in Abuja on Saturday did not hold as scheduled.
The encounter will now be held on Monday, February 6 at the same venue.
Lobi vacated their adopted ground at the Emmanuel Atongo Stadium in Katsina-Ala to Abuja on order of the NPL.
SuperSport.com learnt from an official of the visiting team, Heartland, that the match could not be held as planned due to the use of the pitch by Nigeria National League (NNL) teams.
"No, the match didn't hold, it will now come up on Monday.
"Pro-league matches are going on there today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday).
"Probably Lobi didn't secure the place on time for the premier league match.
"We'll stay in Abuja till Monday to honour the game.
"We're resolute in picking the full points at stake," the official said.
Heartland and Lobi's scheduled mid-week matchday eight games away to Kano Pillars and Sharks respectively are likely to be rescheduled.
SuperSport.com findings showed that NNL side, FCT played to host 36 Lions at the Old Parade Ground, Abuja on Saturday while the FRSC host Sadauna on Sunday at the same venue.
