Akwa United chairman, Isong Isang, has applauded the performance of the club's goalkeeper, Femi Thomas, at the newly-promoted club.
Thomas has been impressive since he arrived from Ocean Boys on the eve of the present season.
The former Under20 and Under23 goalkeeper was brilliant as Akwa United earned their third draw on the road at Sharks, where Akwa United got an important point.
Akwa United had earlier shared points at Rising Stars and Ocean Boys.
"I'm not surprised that he's doing well. That's the reason why we got him to be in goal. He's a good goalkeeper," Isang said to

Thomas frustrated Sharks forwards, Gomo Onduku and George Amakiri, who came close to scoring on match day.
