ABS are tough nuts - Thomas

Akwa United goalkeeper, Femi Thomas has admitted that their matchday six opponents, ABS proved a tough nut to crack.
However, the NPL newly-promoted side succeeded in cracking the visitors 2-1 in Calabar on Thursday.
The victory fetched coach Solomon Ogbeide's wards eight points from possible 15 points.
Daudu Eboh netted the opener for the home lads in the 18th minute while the visitors fought back evening score at the dot of the 45th minute through Abiodun Sala.
Solomon Jabason secured victory for his side with a strong strike at the 80th minute.
Thomas, who manned the post for the duration of the match, told SuperSport.com that ABS scared them with their never-say-die spirit.
"ABS gave us tough time, thank God we won.<>
"I did my best keeping a clean slate but was beaten by a rebound ball.
"The victory is a big boost to us going into our next games."
The Promise Keepers will be away to Sharks in matchday seven in Port Harcourt this weekend.
The former Dream Team V goal-stopper is positive of denying Sharks goal.
"Sharks are bruised already by the mid-week heavy defeat at Gombe United.
"I know it will be tough snatching a point from them but I am determined to stop them from scoring," he said.
