I have done enough at Thanda
Swaziland winger Mzwandile ‘Navara’ Ndzimandze believes he has done enough during a five-day trial with South African First Division side Thanda Royal Zulu.
Ndzimandze, of Mhlambanyatsi Rovers, says joining Amabhubesi would be a dream come true.
After his career was cut short at another NFD side University of Pretoria, Ndzimandze has had a burning ambition to get a second chance and prove he is not a failure.
AmaTuks never renewed his contract after he had spent one season with the Pretoria-based First Division side and he re-joined his former team Mhlambanyatsi Rovers who were relegated last season.
“I knew my chance will come and when the offer to go for trials came I took it with both hands and I know I did enough during the trial to win a contract,” he said.
The shy former Sihlangu winger said he was bowled over by the facilities at the Durban based outfit coached by former Bafana Bafana captain Neil Tovey.
“The set up is very professional and I received a warm welcome and I think I can fit in their playing style too,” he said.
Swazi born Thanda Royal Zulu assistant coach, Milton Dlamini, who has been instrumental in bringing the speedy forward to Amabhubesi, was also full of praise for his fellow countryman.
“It is so far so good for him, after assessing him we liked what we saw. What is now left is for us to agree on personal terms with him,” he said.
