Rovers stretch NFD lead
Blackburn Rovers extended their lead in the National First Division when they defeated Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Rand Stadium on Saturday.
Petrus Ngebo scored a hat-trick to put the East London side five points clear of University of Pretoria and seven points ahead of Thanda Royal Zulu, who could only manage a point each this weekend.
AmaTuks were held to a 1-1 draw by Carara Kicks at home, while Thanda Royal Zulu played to a disappointing goalless draw against bottom-of-the-log Witbank Spurs in Richards Bay.
