Malawian international Joseph Kamwendo is set for a new lease of life at Mozambique top league side Liga Muculmana.
The former Orlando Pirates and Vasco da Gama midfielder has reportedly penned a year-long contract with Muculmana from Mighty Wanderers of Blantyre.
Kamwendo flew out to the Maputo side a few days ago. Latest reports say the Mozambique Cup kings have agreed terms with the Malawian international.
FAM commercial manager Casper Jangale confirmed on Malawi football facebook page Mpira ku Malawi about the transfer of the midfielder.
"ITC delivered. Big up to Joseph Kamwendo for this lucrative deal in Mozambique. All the best," Jangale wrote on Monday January 13 2012.
Kamwendo has, since being offloaded by Pirates last season, picked form; weighing in his performances with eight league goals in 23 games for Wanderers this season.
