Logarusic ready for Tusker clash

Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic is relishing their match up against Tusker in Saturday’s SuperSport/DStv Cup.

The Croat stated that they will do everything to add silverware to their cabinet when they face the league champions.

“I will use this match as part of my build up to the league and Confederations Cup. Our fans want us to win the cup and that is what we will go out there on the pitch on Saturday and commit ourselves to do.”

“We respect Tusker, they are a good team and are on form compared to us who have had less competitive games. I intend to field a strong squad against them so that we can be able to see the options we can use when we play Anse Reunion in Seychelles during the return leg of the Caf competition.”

“There is money involved in this fixture and we want it so that we can inject it into the club.”

Gor Mahia settled for a barren draw at home last weekend against Anse Reunion while Tusker thrashed their opponents St. Michel away 4-1 in the Caf champions league.

The last time the two sides met, a solitary goal from Dan Sserenkuma was enough to silence their opponents. It will be the sixth meeting between the two sides in the past one year with Gor winning three times and Tusker twice.
